Our Corporate Communications Manager works with our Managing Director to set the strategic direction for our corporate communication activity, and leads the delivery of appropriate, meaningful and effective multi-channelled communications across the business. The role is incredibly varied, engages with all departments and level of hierarchy and covers all executive communication, event management, employee engagement programme development and delivery as well as our recognition scheme. Partner Managing Director and executive team providing counsel to deliver leadership communication, promote strategic use of communication tactics and advocate best practice approach Stakeholder manage all heads of departments and advocate a collaborative approach Work closely with the Business Improvement Manager to ensure alignment, provide counsel and corporate communications support for all change programmes, new initiatives and projects Manage external communication channels, social media, PR, Corporate events, Website in conjunction with external support. Lead the External communications in our bids for growth Challenge and guide stakeholders to use communication in a purposeful and strategic way, translating complex messaging in to a simple and consistent language that managers can translate on wards Promote and champion consistency across all corporate communications mediums, including the management of our visual identity; ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to and the use of our brand is always appropriate and professional Acquire, absorb and understand information on policies or legal issues affecting GEOAmey and translate into succinct, relevant and engaging messages With the support of the Internal Communications Manager, coach leaders in communication and wherever possible, measure impact Events management and delivery; includes twice yearly leadership conference and national 'roadshow' engagement events for front-line colleagues Own and manage the relationships with our media handlers to ensure factual and timely information is gathered and accurate and helpful comments are provided to meet journalist deadlines Develop and deliver PR strategy in line with growth agenda and executive directionRelationships: Officer community Business Improvement Manager Heads of Department Executive Team Managing Director Media handlers Shareholder and customer press officesPerson specification: Ability to influence & engage a wide range of stakeholders Ability to coordinate multiple concurrent activities in a controlled manner Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to work well under pressure and to tight time deadlines Flexible team player A positive outlook and desire for changeEssential: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Experience in creating corporate communication Computer literate - including good working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint Influencing, listening and observational skills Multiple stakeholder management experience Ability to communicate succinctly at a senior levelIf you are interested in this role and would like to know more about this exciting opportunity, then please apply directly, or contact me on: Email: (url removed) Mobile: (phone number removed) Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
